For centuries this exotic combination of spices and chillies has ben used as a marinade to tenderise meat and add flavour before barbecuing or grilling the meat over the bark of the Allspice tree.

This sauce has been especially blended to capture all the flavours of the traditional Jerk recipe and encapsulate them in a convenient table sauce. This aromatic and mildly spiced sauce is equally delicious with meat, fish or vegetables, as a basic with grills or as an ingredient.

Pounded Yam can be reconstituted with water to make a smooth puree for serving as an alternative to mashed potato or polenta. It is particularly good served as an accompaniment to stews, casseroles and any other dish with sauce.
